Lecturer
I'm an enthusiastic learner and researcher with a penchant for high pressure situations. I have been working as a Lecturer at the CSE Department, Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh since July 2021. My rank was 7th in the graduating batch of 2021 of my department. I am interested in the domain of Machine Learning and its impact on users. The ability to communicate is what makes humans unique and I want to explore how improvements in Natural Language Processing can enhance the ability of machines to understand humans. I wish to take on the challenge of Data Analysis by working with large amounts of data to obtain interesting and interpretable patterns from them. Currently, I am continuing research in this field with the IUT Systems and Software Research Lab (SSL Lab). Previously, I have worked as a Software Development Intern at Nilavo Technologies and Hyptastic: Porate Chai, where I interacted with cross functional teams to hone my technical and interpersonal skills. My final year undergraduate thesis was on "Autism Detection Using Visual and Behavioral Data". Some of the courses I have conducted as a faculty are Artificial Intelligence Lab, Numerical Analysis, Coordinate Geometry and Differential Equations, UI and UX Design, C Programming. Apart from academics, I take interest in public speaking, volunteering at mental health organizations, and organizing events for the betterment of my alma matter. I am seeking a challenging environment in academia where I can utilize my problem solving skills and emotional intelligence to benefit the organization and improve my area of expertise.
