20th IUT Computer Programming Contest
Published on 14/10/2019
20th IUT Computer Programming Contest, 2019, organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering was held today (14 October 2019). This year is marked as the biggest Intra IUT contest with astounding participation of 84 teams.
The event was inaugurated by the honorable acting Vice-Chancellor, Omar Jah. In his opening speech, he discussed the importance of competitions like these in our field of study. The participants requested more support to organize events as such to a greater extent.
The contest started at 3.00 p.m. It was a three hours long contest, with each team consisting of 3 members. Performance in the contest was extremely impressive; almost all teams were able to solve at least two problems; on top of that, the performance of the first-year students was commendable.
The full rank list can be found here:

IUTCS hopes that this is only the beginning for these aspiring individuals and that they will go a long way to enhance the booming programming culture at IUT. Immense appreciation must be expressed for the efforts of the faculty members and problem setters, without whom, none of this would be a reality.
We would like to express our gratitude to Toph (https://toph.co) for hosting this contest and patiently enduring the strenuous process that led to it.
