Online orientation program for newly admitted first year students of the CSE Department

Newly admitted students of B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering and Software Engineering program of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of the academic year 2020-2021 were welcomed with an online orientation program on 5 June 2021.

The program had started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Ghaith Monsoor, a senior year student of the Department of CSE from Yemen. At the beginning of the program, Mr Shahriar Ivan and Mr Anas Jawad, Lecturers of the CSE Department had presented an overview of the CSE Department, Faculty Members, Student and Alumni success stories. Mr Bakhtiar Hassan, Lecturer, Department of CSE shed some light on the online academic operation of IUT. Professor Dr Abu Raihan Mostafa Kamal, Head of the CSE Department had shared his valuable words with the attendees and gave his vote of thanks.

Then, the students introduced themselves to each other. The program ended with an effective Question and Answer session. The respected faculty members of the CSE Department clarified the queries of the attendees.
